Reporting to the Manager, Wellness Crew Productivity, the Crew Productivity Specialist is responsible to ensure the adherence and application of all attendance programs for the Cabin Crew Bases. This position is accountable to lead the attendance programs and processes, ensuring consistent application of these programs and processes, up to and including individual case handling and outcomes.
 
This position may be located in Toronto or Montreal. 

Key Functions & Accountabilities: 
 
  • 1. Effective utilization of all attendance programs, extract and analyze data, and prepare detailed plan of action, with the intended outcome of reducing absenteeism, identifying misuse of programs, reducing overall costs and achieving targets.
  • 2. Ensure the health and wellbeing of our award-winning cabin crew
  • 3. Peoplesoft extract of daily absenteeism reports, identifying patterned absenteeism, travel while on book off status, no sick time remaining, and other reports related to absenteeism.
  • 4. CAMS (Corporate Absenteeism Management System) data management, including tracking, file preparation, meetings and follow up.
  • 5. Crew scheduling incident report follow up and medical substantiation tracking
  • 6. Conduct Care and Wellbeing Calls to Cabin
  • 7. Work with our business partners including but not limited to Base Management, Occupational Health Services, Disability Management and Crew Scheduling 8. A firm but fair assessment and approach of our generous attendance programs
Qualifications

  • 10. Airline experience, with specific knowledge of In-Flight Service
  • 11. Practical experience in attendance management, programs and cost savings
  • 12. A good working knowledge of Corporate Absenteeism Management Programs
  • 13. Experience in managing a unionized workforce and ideally has knowledge of present In-flight Service Collective Agreement, technical and professional progressive disciplines
  • 14. Requires moderate expertise work in In-Flight Service procedures, programs, technology, principles, theories, and/or ideas
  • 15. Requires knowledge of Peoplesoft, Netline, CAMS, and Shepell fgi Absence Support Management
  • 16. Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • 17. A working knowledge of the French Language is preferred, as Montreal Base is an area of responsibility
